Monk Mode

We collect the information you provide when creating an account, including your email address, display name, and profile photo. We also collect habit data you log within the app (habit names, completion times, streak counts) and any posts or comments you share in the Crew feed.

Your information is used solely to operate the Monk Mode app — to authenticate your account, sync your habits and streaks across devices, and display your activity in the Crew feed to people you choose to connect with. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Monk Mode uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls) to block apps you select. This functionality runs entirely on your device. We do not have access to which apps you block or your Screen Time usage data.

Profile photos you upload are stored securely in Supabase Storage and are only visible to other users in the Crew feed. Post photos (habit proof images) are stored alongside your posts. You can delete your posts at any time from the Crew feed.

Your account data is stored using Supabase, a secure cloud database provider. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Some preferences (theme, schedule) are stored locally on your device only.

You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at privacy@monkmode.app. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Monk Mode is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the app. Continued use of Monk Mode after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
